“I did exactly this for MTH235 a few years back. The recitation time that fit my schedule best was only available during the lecture times that I had another conflict with. As long as your lecture doesn't take attendance (which I don't believe MTH133 does) then you should be good to go.”

“MTH133 didn't take attendance for me in 2021, most people didn't go to any lectures.”

“The only issue you might run into is if the exams are administered during the lecture times (vs. in the recitation). You'd have to make sure to attend those ones and skip your other class. Usually not a problem unless that other class also has an exam the same day.”
