Some reviews might be irrelevant, wrong, or missing as these are straight from Reddit/RMP search. We're working on improving this!
“370 is good if you follow instructions good. The grading is strict but its clear what you're being graded on. Most stressful part is the 2 lab practicals. 470/471 are strict and its not clear what youre being graded on. Very time consuming and difficult”
“355 and 356 are usually very easy labs (aside from being 6 weekly hours). BMB 370 is on a whole different level though, do not let the “introductory” in the name fool you. Very time consuming, exams test you on stuff you will have to learn by yourself, and grading is definitely the most unforgiving I’ve ever seen. Good luck!”
“CEM 355, 356, BMB 370,470,471 Good evening, I’m taking CEM 355 this semester and 356 next semester and I’m just wondering what people’s experiences were with it? Next year, I have to take BMB 370 and the year after, 470 and 471. How bad are they?”
“Cem 355 and 356 are easy 4.0s as long as you show up and do the lab. Outside of lab all you need to do are post labs and a small writing report. Some TAs don't even look at the post labs and just give you a 4.0.”
